Maramar
Project
We believe that the world changes when we do something to help others. Motivated to improve the lives of people in a community on the coast of Piaui (northeast of Brazil), Creative Brazil launched its first social project.

Know more about this story
In May of 2017, Ana Clark developed, in partnership with Orlando Nunes (born in Piauí and co-idealizer), the training of women in the production of jewelry in the village of Maramar as a form of social entrepreneurship.
Ana flew with an employee to Maramar and spent 10 days teaching these women all techniques of 23 pieces that are now part of the Maramar Collection. The apprentices assembled in batches using supplies provided by Creative Brazil. The provision of labor of this qualified workforce was duly paid. As a consequence, the company were not only able to increase its production for the shows and customer service but also the trained women were able to develop pieces and move the local economy, thus promoting indirect improvements in the community's socioeconomic progress.
We have been presenting Maramar Collection to all shows and it is always very well received by customers and visitors. This kind of acceptance has made us believe that we are on the right track as complex as it may be.
How about become an inspiration to other companies? Help us spread the word and try to make the world a better place for everyone!
